This is our second annual wellness retreat with Wellness with Brigitte!

I'm looking forward to spending this retreat with dear friends, in the beautiful red rock country and peacefulness of West Sedona.

Sedona is a globally renowned destination, surrounded by 1.8 million acres of national forest land and buttressed by four wilderness areas and two state parks. It is a landscape of iconic red rock formations and steep canyon walls lined with oaks, tall pines and even cacti! Sedona is also a place held as deeply nourishing and healing, and the perfect place to reconnect with nature and step away from the busyness of life and the world.

Not only is Sedona one of the most scenic places on earth, but it's host to some of the most spectacular sunrises and is also an ‘International Dark-Sky City’ and the nighttime views of the stars are abundant and endless!

On this page, you will find all the information you need to sign up for the retreat, as well as details on where we will stay, what we will eat and a preliminary itinerary for the retreat.

Location : West Sedona

Cost : $952 (shared double accommodations, two beds) | $1,312 (private, single accommodations) Please note that all accommodations are with shared bath with 2 or 3 other participants).

Accomodations

We have selected this gorgeous, 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom home in west Sedona as our accommodations for this retreat! The property boasts beautiful views, which change as the sun moves through the day, and is close to delicious restaurants, shops and trailheads, with hikes that are accessible to all.

Meals

Delicious food and meals prepared with love, and accompanied by meaningful conversations, are central to gatherings like this. While people often associate 'wellness' retreats with meals that adhere to a specific kind of diet, such as vegetarianism, my philosophy with wellness and eating is, to certainly eat foods that are beneficial and what we might call healthy, but I am also of the philosophy that eating, especially with good friends, is something to be enjoyed and savored!

We will have a community approach to our meals for this year’s retreat. In yoga, they use to term Seva - which translates to selfless service performed without expectation of reward. This is one of the core tenets of the path of yoga.

We will pair up participants for each evening meal and one breakfast meal at the house. Participants will plan their meal with their group, and will be asked to bring all of the ingredients needed for the meal, and then prepare the meal for our group.

Each participant will also be asked to bring one type of snack item, which we will put out for midday eating. Breakfast will be provided one morning, and participants will be asked to bring what they would like to eat for the other mornings.

Beverages, such coffee, water and soda water will be provided.

A $500 deposit is required to hold your spot.

The remaining balance is due by Aug 15th.

You can make payment via check, Zelle or Venmo. Please use my phone number for Zelle or Venmo, 602 300 2566 (do not us my email address). If you would like to pay by credit card, there is a processing fee of $55 on the deposit transaction.

Cancelation policy:

If you need to cancel and do so within 14 days of your payment date, your deposit will be refunded. The deposit is non-refundable after 14 days after your payment date. The $55 credit card processing fee a non-refundable at any time.

Once your balance due is paid in full, cancellations by Sep 30, 2026 will receive a 50% refund, less $500 and any credit card processing fees. Should we have a waitlist and someone from the waitlist signs up, or you find someone to take your place, you will receive a full refund for payments made, less any credit card processing fees, once the new attendee has paid the full amount due.

No refunds will be issued after Sep 30, 2026

Should Wellness with Brigitte or the hosting property need to cancel the retreat for any reason. You will be fully refunded any registration fees paid, less any credit card processing fees.

Payment

As we get closer to the retreat date, a finalized itinerary will be provided. All activities are optional.

Monday, November 2

Arrival in Sedona. The house will be available any time after 4:30 pm. As we determine who will be joining us on this retreat, I am happy to coordinate carpool options. There is parking for 5 vehicles on site. Street parking is not permitted.

6:00 PM | Dinner out | Restaurant TBD (self pay). Here we can get to know one another a little better and share stories and laughter.

Tuesday, November 3

Awaken at your leisure, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Breakfast at your leisure (please see MEALS)

Afternoon Yoga/Chair Yoga | Time TBD

Sundown Meditation | Join me for a relaxing sunset meditation and"Set an Intention for Your Retreat."

Dinner | Gather on the patio (weather permitting), for a delicious opening dinner prepared by some of our participants.

Wednesday, November 4

Breakfast - Awaken at your leisure, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Breakfast will be served on the patio (weather permitting) and prepared by some of our participants. | Time TBD.

Afternoon Mat/Chair Pilates | Time TBD

Sundown Meditation and Stretching - Join me for a relaxing sunset meditation and deep stretching in a chair or on your mat.

Dinner - A delicious dinner prepared by some of our participants.

Game Night - Join us for some fun and games! If you have any favorite games you'd like to play, please let me know.

Thursday, November 5

Morning - Awaken with the sun and join me for an easy hike in the red rocks of Sedona (time TBD) or sleep in for a quiet morning at the house. Breakfast at your leisure (please see MEALS)

Lunch - If you’d like to get out of the house, join us for lunch at a local restaurant. (self pay).

Afternoon - Join me for Mat/Chair Yoga followed by Mat/Chair Pilates. Do one or the other, or both! Time TBD

Sundown Meditation - Join me for a relaxing sunset meditation on "The Power of Love and Friendship"

Closing Dinner - Let's celebrate old friends and new ones with a delicious dinner prepared by some of our participants.! Time TBD

Friday, November 6

Awaken and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.

Check out time is 10:00 AM. Return home at your leisure.

Preliminary Itinerary

This and That

Getting There: There is parking at the house for five cars. As we get closer, I will make carpool arrangements for everyone.

Weather: The average daily temperature in Sedona in early November is 70° for the high and 41° for the low.

Special Diets: If you have a special diet that you follow, please let me know and we will strive to have variety of food options, which will accommodate a variety of diets. If you have specific foods that you eat on your diet, we ask that you bring them.

Clean Up: I ask that we all partake in cleaning up after the meals and keeping the house neat and orderly during our stay.

Cell Phones: I’d like to suggest that we keep cell phones on silent or vibrate during our stay. Perhaps we may also skip the 'scrolling' while on the retreat, optional of course. I’m going to give it a try and we’ll see how I do!

Let’s take a break from the news: Please do not bring up or discuss anything related to politics or current national or world events.

Quiet Hours: You are more than welcome to stay up as late as you would like or go to bed as early as you would like. You are also more than welcome to get up early or sleep in. To accommodate everyone, let’s observe quiet hours between 9 PM and 9 AM, and please keep voices down if you are in the area of the bedrooms during this time. If you are sensitive to sound while you sleep, I encourage you to bring earplugs.

Outdoor Activities: Any patio activities may be moved inside due weather conditions. Any other outdoor activities may be canceled due to weather.

What is Not Included

Alcoholic beverages. You may bring your own alcoholic beverages if you wish. Additionally, please bring any specialty coffees or drinks you would like.

Any meals eaten out, or not included on the itinerary.

Costs for transportation to and from Sedona and to and from any of the restaurants.

Waiver of Liability: Upon signing up for this retreat and partaking in this retreat and practicing in any of the activities included, you agree that you have taken all necessary steps to ascertain that you are in good health and able to perform all yoga or pilates, or any other exercises which you are to learn and perform during this retreat with Wellness with Brigitte. You agree that you understand that yoga and pilates are physical practices and you are responsible for your own well-being during classes, as well as throughout the retreat, when not taking part in classes guided by Brigitte. You agree that, as you are responsible for your own health, you will not hold Brigitte Yancy, Wellness with Brigitte or Brigitte Yancy International, LLC., responsible for any injuries you may suffer, caused whole or in part by your failure to heed instruction. You also agree that you understand and acknowledge that you are to receive instruction in Yoga and Pilates theory and exercises only, and you will not hold Brigitte Yancy, Wellness with Brigitte or Brigitte Yancy International, LLC., to any higher standard of care than that applicable to Yoga and Pilates theory and exercises.
