learn to Meditate with Me in four sessions, Each with an Introduction and A Guided Meditation. listen and re-listen whenever and Wherever you would like.
Meditation is often described as a practice to help to calm us and reduce our stress levels. While this is true, meditation is so much more than that. Meditation has the potential to change our lives for the better. I can say that with certainty because, after years of living with anxiety, fear and procrastination, it has changed my life. Meditation gives us strength, it helps us to find balance and stability, it quiets our mind and gives us clarity, and it helps us to stop living in fear, worry, anger, regret and so much more.
That might sound like a lot of promises and changing your life might sound like a daunting task, especially if you are living with challenges or living in a lot of struggle right now. So, what I've done here, is broken down meditation into three basic areas; the breath, single-pointed focus, and how to meditate with and overcome your distractions and emotions. I've also briefly, but fully, covered topics such as mindfulness, sustainable contentment, and compassion and kindness. All of these are core tenets to the practice of meditation, as well as to overcoming your struggles. These sessions and videos will be helpful to you in learning to meditate and setting up a home practice.
These basics and core tenets will be the foundation of your meditation practice. If you are truly ready to change your life for the better, the key to doing so is putting these techniques into practice and, most importantly, doing regular meditations. Changing your life for the better is not a quick fix and it will take time and effort. So, this course is yours to keep, with no expiration date. I invite you to do the guided meditations as often as you can and as long as they serve you.
I've also included a video with tips on how to set up a home practice and how to self guide yourself in meditation. I also offer more than 30 guided meditations online if you would like to continue with guided meditations after you complete this course. Please see the conclusion of this course to save 50% on your first payment for this package.
Please know I'll be right there with you along this journey, both through the meditations, and the techniques and tips. Please also know that anytime you have questions, all you have to do is contact me.
Now please sit back, relax and breathe,
~Brigitte

The Breath | Introduction and Meditation
I have always told my students that meditation begins and ends with the breath. The breath, which is always available to us, is central to all meditations and is one of the most powerful tools we have to help to calm and relax us. How we breathe is also critical to whether we are in the anxious side of our nervous system, or in the calmer and restorative side.
In this practice, I invite you meditate with and contemplate your breath in some new ways and calming ways

Single Pointed Focus and Choosing Your Thoughts | Introduction and Meditation
People often mistakenly believe that meditation is about stopping the mind from thinking. This is impossible. The mind is always thinking and it’s sole function is to process thoughts. While we may not have the power to stop our mind from thinking, we do have the power to chose what we think about and this is one of core practices of meditation. When we chose our point of focus in meditation, it can quiet a busy mind, clear a cluttered mind and give you the sensation of relaxing your mind.

Working with Distractions and Emotions | Introduction and Meditation
Learn to work with your distractive thoughts and emotions rather than struggle against them. Notice this says working "with" distractive thoughts and emotions. One of the core tenets of meditation is to do our practices to help us move away from our struggles, and more importantly away from our habits and behaviors that cause our struggles and learn new practices and habits, that we can then use in our meditations, and ultimately our daily lives, to live in greater ease.
