Meditation | Settle Away from Strugggle
The yang of the breath (the inhale) and the yin of the breath (the exhale) are meant to balance each other out over the course of our day. When we are in struggle and feeling anxious, worried, fearful or unsettled or feeling angry or resentful (or any other energy of struggle), we get stuck in the 'fight or flight' side of our nervous system. In 'fight or flight' we inhale more than we exhale and we create imbalance. This simple, yet powerful, practice will help you use your exhale to balance your energy and settle away from struggle.
