Intermediate Chair Yoga | Pelvis and Back Health and Stability
Today, our practice gives primary focus to the lower core stability muscles and important areas. These include the pelvic bowl and pelvic floor, the gluteus medius in the lower back and the gluteus maximus in the buttocks, the adductors of the inner thigh and abductors of the lateral pelvis and last but not least, our quads and hamstrings. All of these muscle groups are integral to back health and stability, but they also play a key role in keeping our knees healthy and stable as well. A win/win for everyone!
